WelBook

Terms of Service

Effective 3 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-03

These terms are an agreement between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Welbook", "we", "us") and the business that opens a Welbook account ("you"). They cover the Welbook business dashboard and any related service we provide.

By ticking the box at sign-up you confirm you have read these terms, that you accept them, and that you have authority to accept them for your business.

1. The service

Welbook is appointment and client management software for appointment-based businesses such as salons, barbershops, spas and nail studios. It lets you record your services, staff, opening hours, clients and bookings, and see reporting on them.

We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you depend on, or make a change that materially reduces the service, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and operating a genuine business to use Welbook.

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

Tell us promptly at [contact@welbook.app] if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.

3. Trial and fees

New accounts begin on a trial. During the pilot period described to you, Welbook is provided free of charge.

If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and give you notice before any charge applies to your account. You may stop using Welbook rather than accept a new charge.

[INSERT: billing cycle, refund policy, late payment terms, and applicable taxes once pricing is live.]

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you and your staff put into Welbook and for how you use it. In particular you agree to:

  • provide accurate business details, including an address customers can actually find;
  • keep your opening hours, services and prices current, since customers may rely on them;
  • only enter client information you are entitled to hold and use;
  • comply with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection and data protection law;
  • not use Welbook to send unsolicited marketing to your clients.

5. Your clients’ data

When you enter a client’s name, phone number, email or notes, that information belongs to your business and you decide how it is used. In data protection terms you are the controller of it, and we process it on your behalf in order to run the service for you.

That means it is your responsibility to have a lawful basis for holding your clients’ information, to tell them how you use it, and to answer them if they ask to see, correct or delete it. We will help you do that — see the Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your client data, and we do not use it to market to your clients.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Welbook for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful;
  • attempt to access another business’s data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission;
  • interfere with the service’s operation, or place unreasonable load on it through automated means;
  • copy, resell or sublicense the service, or reverse engineer it except to the extent the law allows;
  • upload anything containing malware.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Welbook software, brand and everything we put into it. You own your business data and your client data. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership either way.

You grant us only the permission we need to host, process, back up and display your data in order to provide the service to you.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Welbook available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and faults happen.

During the pilot period there is no service level commitment and no guaranteed support response time.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Welbook at any time and ask us to delete your account.

We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the service or other businesses at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

On closure you may ask us for an export of your data. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep data afterwards.

10. Disclaimers

Welbook is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Welbook is a tool for running your business. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice, and your bookings, pricing and records remain your responsibility.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost bookings, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or [AMOUNT] EGP.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims brought by a third party — including your clients — that arise from your use of Welbook in breach of these terms or of the law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of [CITY], Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give you notice in the dashboard or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Welbook after that date means you accept the new version.
